Overview

Inside The Book

THE FUTURE IS NOW, and we are here willing and able to be part of the new world. It took me a few iterations to discover that my ultimate purpose is empowerment and God has afforded me so many opportunities to advocate for and endorse women who will be part of changing the landscape.

For these are the women who will find ingenious ways of making the world better. Us women are like that; we make magic with limited resources, raise other people’s children, overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles, and keep going when it seems the fight is over. Now imagine matching those superpowers with super computers. Women in the world over will be unstoppable, and our communities will see unprecedented socio-economic development.

What if there was a place where you could live your fullest life, embracing your passion, fueling transformation, and shifting the way the world works and communicates? What if you were an integral part of that process? I have found such a place and am happy to share the path to get there.

I have found sustained energy through living my passion, but also through balance. Being a mother first and then a woman in technology a mentor, a contributor and a giver to society are all important to me, so I have learned how to prioritise and celebrate successes.

In The Future In Technology Thorough A Woman's Eye, You Will Learn

There is nothing wrong with the world, but our thoughts manifest how we react to it. I see problems and challenges, but I also see opportunities and solutions architecture all around. I am passionate about what happens when the human spirit meets Artificial Intelligence and the places it will take our growth and development in the future.

I really loved Mathematics at school perhaps because my dad pushed me over and over again to focus on it. It also helped that I had great Math teachers in primary and secondary and a great Statistics lecturer at university.

Human scientists tell us that more than desire, grit keeps us going. Even when you don't see the way forward, grit is that little flicker of light that ignites when you feel like giving up. Perpetual change and adaptability will need resilience, and women are developing it through their many social and economic challenges.

I am particularly passionate about Agriculture because humanity cannot survive without food. And the premise of optimising the agricultural industry means more food for everyone in the rapidly increasing population in the years to come. When you feed a population, you give them a chance to fulfil their dreams. My passion thus lies within maximising the very basics.

There is still too much focus on what sets us apart rather than what unites, or how we use our differences to our advantage. The future is about adaptability and inclusion, finding solutions from across racial, tribal, gender, educational, and generational divides. We will need to suspend our prejudice for progress.

The future of tech is female. To embrace a more diverse future for women in technology leadership, we need to learn, teach, empower, support, and appoint more women into embracing the future which is AI. I am one of them, taking my role as a woman empowerment agent very seriously.

As Africa is progressively characterised by high-speed connectivity and big data becoming increasingly valuable, there emanates a unique opportunity to leverage Artificial Intelligence to drive large-scale transformation and competitiveness within organisations. It also brings huge transformation on the individual and community level. I believe Africa cannot, and should Never take a backseat to these emergences.

I am a strong believer in opportunity irrespective of gender; it is up to the person playing the role. Since am already in it, I plan to utilise the opportunity to promote more women into the industry to benefit from the opportunities that are inevitable and futuristic. I believe when you empower a woman, you empower a whole society.

  • The Agricultural sector will be optimised by AI and provide economic growth to African countries.
  • Africa embracing AI in agriculture means feeding Africa first and exporting to the rest of the world.
